Our family has been in the automotive industry since 1990. In our early days we used to provide auto repair, paint and body, car sales, and NC State Inspections.
We served over 20 years on Town Police, County Sheriff, and Highway Patrol rotation in Johnston County. We also performed parking enforcement in the Town of Smithfield for private properties.
A lot has changed over the years, but our quality and professional service have not. Our first and foremost goal is to provide the best, and that has not changed. We are community and family focused; when you are in a pinch we’re always there no matter what day and night.

We have trained many great operators over the years. Not everyone sticks around as they grow into themselves, and are afforded the opportunities to work with larger and different companies in other parts of the industry.

Here at Pounds Towing and Roadside Assistance we are a family. We work hard, we play hard, we have fun, and participate in a lot of local events in different communites throughout the year.
You will find out that we do things a lot different here. Below you will find a few of the skills and responsibilities that will be required to do what we do every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting and Processing payments from commercial accounts and customers
- Document and perform inspections of the equipment you operate and the vehicle you tow
- Documenting your actions and customer concerns
- Performing duties with the upmost professionalism, courtesy, respect, and kindness
SKILLS
- Ability to operate a standard transmission proficiently
- Demonstrate and effectively communicate with staff and customers
- Ability to multi-task safely and proficiently
- Ability to use Quickbooks, Dispatch Software, and internal communitcations systems
- Goal oriented with the ability to make changes and pivot in different directions when neccesary
